Hello future Jumbos! My name is Htoo Myat Kyaw, and I'm part of the Class of 2029, studying Cognitive and Brain Sciences with a minor in Legal Studies, an interdisciplinary path spanning computer science, psychology, and philosophy. I'm a QuestBridge Scholar, and what drew me to Tufts was exactly this kind of interdisciplinary freedom, the ability to sit at the intersection of law, AI technology, and cognitive science without having to choose just one lane. On campus, of the many clubs I'm a part of, you'll find me most involved with the Tufts Muslim Student Association and with the Tufts Student Alumni Collective, helping plan initiatives. My favorite spot to unwind and study is the Tisch Roof Garden, especially in early fall and late spring, when the Boston skyline turns golden and the campus feels like it's holding its breath before the season changes.
