Engineering Management and Entrepreneurship at the Gordon Institute

The Tufts Gordon Institute is a center for programs focusing on engineering management and, more broadly, entrepreneurship. The Institute offers a minor in Engineering Management for students in the School of Engineering, a Master of Science in Engineering Management that students in the School of Engineering may begin as a junior, and a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership, which is open to students in both the School of Engineering and the School of Arts and Sciences. The Institute is also a source of funding for students who compete in the $100,000 Business Plan Competition and offers lectures that focus on leadership in the corporate world.  Recent speakers have included Tufts alumni like Joe Neubauer E63 (Chairman and CEO of Aramark Corporation), Jonathan Tisch A76 (CEO of Lowes Hotels), Laura Lang A77 (CEO of Digitas), and Ellen Kullman E78 (CEO of DuPont).

The Entrepreneurial Leadership Program educates Tufts’ undergraduate students in the business of ideas: inspiring them, polishing them and turning them into enterprises.
