One of the many benefits to living on the edge of one of the most dynamic and innovative cities in the nation is the opportunity to work with the hundreds of nonprofit and for-profit organizations, corporations, and institutions that make the Boston metro area such an exciting place to study and live.
Career Services
The Tufts Career Center continually posts internships in an online database, called Handshake, which is where students will also look for full-time positions. A team of career advisors is available to guide students through an internship search. Resources include workshops on specific fields; individualized coaching, from résumé preparation to interviewing skills; and alumni advising via panels and programs on campus. The annual Tufts Career Fair in the fall and spring brings over 150 employers to campus.
Internship Grants
Internships may be paid or unpaid. To support students in exploring valuable opportunities that are not compensated, the Career Center offers summer internship grants of $4,000.
