Making the Big Move: Warm Climates to the Boston Winter

Hi Bo’s and future Bo’s! My name is Tessa Player. I am a member of the Class of 2027 from the San Francisco Bay Area studying Biology on the Pre-Med Track. Aside from working as an admissions intern and tour guide here at Tufts, I am a captain of the Track & Field team, a representative for several student organizations — Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Green Dot, Athlete Ally, and Pre-Medical Society Mentor — and an undergraduate research assistant in a biomedical engineering lab on campus. Off-campus, I also work as a student research intern at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Emergency Department. If I’m not in the lab or in the gym, you’ll likely find me lounging on Prez Lawn or grabbing a Tropikale smoothie from Kindlevan Cafe (despite being scary and green, they're delicious, I promise).
