Hey #tufts2024,
I know this is a weird time for a high school senior. The admissions process is playing out a little differently than usual, but guess what? If you were recently admitted to Tufts (or any other college), you still deserve major congratulations. I wanted you to know we’re thinking of you and give you a quick update on what we’re doing these days:
Lots of Zoom meetings. Like you, we’re at home getting used to new technology and new ways of staying connected. Some of us are leaning in to our office’s instant messaging platform and reliving our AIM fantasies from the ‘90s and ‘00s (Google it if you need to).
Netflix. We watched Tiger King just like you.
Eating snacks. Enough said.
Preparing content for you! The Tufts Admissions team has developed a whole bunch of virtual sessions and social media content for admitted students, and we’re calling it Jumbo Month. Keep an eye on the Class of 2024 website and sign up the sessions that will help you learn what you need to solidify your college choice.
Hoping you’ll come to Tufts! Like I said in the video, we think you’re really, really great. Our team connected with your application and we believe you have a lot to offer the Tufts community. We selected you from a talented group of applicants and now it’s your turn to consider your options and make the choice that feels best for you and your family.
So call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me (another one to Google if needed). Our team of admissions officers and student workers are waiting by the phone (and keyboard) if you need us.
