These students will spend Thursday and Friday on the Hill and will have the opportunity to experience life as a Jumbo for a few days.
As a new admissions officer to Tufts, this is my very first Voices and I would venture to say I feel just as nervous as some of the students coming. In some ways, this year’s Voices program feels like the first day of school– there are some jitters and butterflies, but overall there is a sense of excitement and I forward to meeting everyone!
Here are some quick facts about the students coming:
States represented: 28 states + D.C. and Puerto Rico
Top 3 states represented: New York (including some from Queens, where I grew up!), California, and Florida
Furthest city represented: Aptos, CA (over 3,160 miles from campus)
Potential engineers: 97
Top 3 potential majors: International Relations, Biology, and Biomedical Engineering (and lots of pre-med students as well!)
