My name is Yulia, I'm a new admissions officer here at Tufts as well as a recent alumna. I'm writing this post from Logan Airport, preparing to depart from the land of Dunkin Donuts (Boston) to the land of Starbucks (the Pacific Northwest) and despite being a loyal Dunkin fan, I couldn't be more excited.
Much as Matt did last year, I'm going to be documenting the life of an Admissions Officer through a newcomers eyes. You and I are going to have a splendid adventure this year going through the ins and outs of college admissions. But in the meantime, tell me what you'd like to know! What intrigues you about college admissions? What are you excited about? What are you worried about? What is your preference in the seemingly never ending battle between Dunkin and Starbucks? Comment at the bottom and let me know!
But now it's boarding time, so I'm going to sign off as I have a few lingering bites and sips left of my last Dunkin donut/coffee combo (both pumpkin, of course) to savor... unless my layover in Denver Airport has a Dunkin in which case I have absolutely no qualms with two donuts in one day. Here's to hoping!
