Exploring Boston: From Dumplings to Duchamp’s Stepson

The SMFA at Tufts Admissions team are artists who have been in your shoes; we have all been through the art school admissions process. We’re passionate about art education, we love to travel, and National Portfolio Days are some of our favorite events (because we get to meet other artists!) Collectively, our interdisciplinary artistic practices include everything from drawing and painting, to performance art and video installation. When we’re not on the road talking about admissions, we’re visiting museums and galleries, working in the studio, or exhibiting our own work. The SMFA at Tufts is a challenging place; it is designed to be that way. In the end, you will find it to be profoundly rewarding.
