I may have grown up in Alexandria, Virginia, but I have known about Tufts since my first year in high school – a senior at my school was going to this university that had one of the coolest mascots I had ever heard of: the Jumbos! Even though I STILL think the mascot (and the story behind it!) is one of the coolest things about Tufts, I have come to love the incredibly kind, intellectually curious, and collaborative community that makes me excited every day to share with prospective students what it really means to be a Jumbo.
