Humanities Open House
The humanities at Tufts are focused on exploring the life of the mind through reading, writing, and discussion in small classes and through independent research. The Humanities Open House is a half day program where prospective students interested in the humanities can meet Tufts professors, tour campus, eat lunch in the dining halls, talk with current students and admissions officers, and explore Tufts’ eleven humanities departments: Anthropology, Art History, Classics, Drama, English, German, Russian, and Asian Languages and Literatures, History, Music, Philosophy, Religion, and Romance Languages and Literatures. Science and Math Open House
Tufts is on the cutting edge of the sciences and mathematics, starting at the very top, with President Anthony Monaco, a renowned geneticist, and Dean of Arts & Sciences Joanne Berger-Sweeney, a neurobiologist. Our students thrive in the classroom and in the lab. The Science and Math Open House is a half day program where prospective students interested in science and math can meet Tufts professors, tour campus and laboratory spaces, eat lunch in the dining halls, talk with current students and admissions officers, and explore the six departments of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Mathematics, and Physics.
