A great education stretches your mind, forces you to think about the world in different ways, and challenges you to examine your assumptions. This is particularly true when you take up the challenge of studying abroad, which Tufts students have been doing for more than forty years.
Across the Country
Tufts runs programs off campus in Washington, D.C., and at Mystic Seaport, and it maintains exchange programs with three other colleges on the east coast. Learn more.
Around the Globe
Typically, 40-45 percent of Tufts undergraduates participate in full-year or semester-long foreign study programs around the world. Students may choose to spend their summer at Tufts' overseas campus in Talloires, France, a semester or year abroad at one of over 80 pre-approved programs, or select one of Tufts' study abroad programs in Chile, China, France, Germany, Ghana, Hong Kong, Japan, London, Madrid, Oxford, or Paris.
