Combined Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programs

B.A. or B.S./M.A.

Qualified Tufts undergraduates in either the School of Arts and Sciences or the School of Engineering may apply to participate in a program to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in five years.  Interested students should consult their undergraduate advisor and then contact the graduate school to learn about the application process.  Combined-degree students must fulfill all the requirements of both the undergraduate and graduate programs and must pay eight semesters of undergraduate tuition and the entire tuition for the master’s degree, but may begin taking graduate-level courses while still an undergraduate.  Admission to the program is normally during the junior year.
