Current students are a vital part of the Tufts admission process. Students can volunteer with the admissions office in a variety of ways:
Tour guides are the most cited reason about why a student chooses to apply to Tufts. As ambassadors for the school, tour guides are responsible for leading hour long guided tours around campus and answering any questions that families might have. There is no better way to show your love for Tufts than becoming a campus tour guide. Interested? Email Admissions Counselor Jason Rathman at email@example.com to apply.
This is your chance to chat about Tufts over coffee with a prospective student! As a coffee host, you will take a prospective student to an on-campus cafe and casually chat with them about Tufts. Coffee hosts are great ambassadors for the university and are able to give a great insight into life at Tufts.

If talking to applicants about your time at Tufts sounds fun, sign up to be a senior interviewer! As an interviewer, you will be responsible for conducting interviewers both in your hometown and over Skype. These interviews serve two purposes: to help the admissions office identify the best candidates for admission and to help foster the candidates' excitement about Tufts. Because admissions officers do not have the chance to personally meet all of the applicants, these interviews are extremely helpful as we shape the next class of Jumbos. Additionally, current seniors are a tremendous aid in helping us to identify students who fit in with Tufts’ intellectually powerful but playful culture.
