I first discovered the Admissions field when I was asked to serve as a student interviewer at my alma mater. As the first person in my family to graduate with a 4-year degree, I had very limited understanding of college admissions and didn't realize there was an entire profession behind it. I became fascinated with the work of sharing information about universities and evaluating students for admission. After graduating, I jumped at the opportunity to become a full-time admissions counselor. Before arriving at Tufts, I worked at a regional public research university, a state flagship & land grant institution, and a small private STEM-focused research university. My favorite part of this work is helping first-generation students navigate the admissions process and discover the breadth of opportunities available to them at incredible schools like Tufts.
