Counselor Connection

Welcome to Counselor Connection! We hope you find this site helpful as you learn more about the University and assist your students applying to Tufts.

Questions & Answers

What is Counselor Connection?

Tufts University Counselor Connection is a private, secure website dedicated to school counselors that lets you track your students' application materials, get up to the minute updates on the admissions cycle from our office and allows you to view your students' admissions decisions when they become available.

Who gets to use it?

High school counselors who are directly involved in the college process. You will need a verifiable school email address and CEEB code for registration to be processed.

Why can't I sign on if I a) work with an access organization, b) am an independent counselor, or c) work for a school that does not have a CEEB code?

Providing this information by CEEB code is the best control we have to maintain the privacy of student records. If you are a counselor who works with students who attend various schools, please feel free to contact your area admissions contact directly. We'd be happy to provide you with information to help counsel your students.

Why do I need a school email address?

This is another layer to protect student privacy. Once we send verification to this address, you can log on to the system and change your email preferences.

How do I register for Counselor Connection?

To sign up for the Tufts University Counselor Connection, please log on to the Counselor Connection site and register. It is a two-step process; once you complete the counselor registration page and we receive the request electronically, we will verify your registration and you will receive a login name and password confirmation.
