Before I got to college, I was nervous about what my first-year housing situation would be. Would I get along with my roommate? Would I become friends with people on my floor? I found my freshman year roommate through the Tufts Class of 2018 Facebook group. We began talking, hit it off, and decided to live together. I am from New York and she is in Chicago, so we did not have a chance to meet up in-person before school started. We moved in on the same day, and started to decorate our room.
I was placed in a double in Haskell Hall, which is downhill and made up of 10-person single gender suites. The placement of the individuals in the suite was random. Every day, I am thankful for the fact that ORLL placed this group of girls together. Throughout my entire college experience, I have lived with people from my freshman year suite. We've travelled together, constantly group message each other, and have been together from the start of college. Though I am sad about leaving Tufts after next year, I am so happy and proud to be friends with such amazing individuals. Whether it is late-night conversations about our latests insights from class or just gossiping about drama, my time at Tufts is always filled with the love and support of my suite mates!
