A breakdown of my week's schedule

Apr 06
Amos Tiyo Jumbo Talk

Monday:

This is my least busy day of the week. I wake up at around 8 a.m. and prepare to head to my 9 a.m. Microeconomics class. If I have some time, I grab breakfast before class, but if not, I just walk to class by 8:50 a.m., since the class is in JCC and I live in Haskell Hall. It is a rather fast walk. After the class, I have a Residential Life Advisor (RLA) shift from 11 a.m. to noon, so I try grabbing breakfast with a friend before I start the shift.

After the shift, I am free for the rest of the day, so I head back to my room and do some assignments, after which I take a nap for about an hour. I then head to Hodge to grab a bowl for dinner, watch my “Suits” show on Netflix, and then to work out at the Tisch Fitness Center from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. I come back, shower, jump on a call with my family and my significant other, and then head to bed.

Tuesday:

I wake up at 8 a.m., and since I have three back-to-back classes on this day, I prepare all the materials I need and pack them in my bag. I head to my Statistics class at 9 a.m., and when class is about to end, my friends and I place a Kindlevan order for breakfast. Right after class, we rush to the TTC to grab the breakfast and quickly walk back to Olin Center for our 10:30 classes. For me, I have my class Laughing and Crying in Literature and Film. After the class, I head to JCC for my final class of the day, which is “Intro to Finance.” It is a good class, and I learn a lot. After class, a friend and I head to Dewick to grab lunch. At around 4 p.m., I have an RLA shift until 6 p.m., and after that, I am free. I then proceed with the same routine as Monday until I go to bed.

Wednesday:

I wake up at 8 a.m. to get ready for my 9 a.m. class, and after class, I get lunch and then take the train to Boston for my internship, which lasts about 3–4 hours. I start heading back at around 4:30 p.m. on the train. After I am back, I have an RLA shift for about two hours, after which I am free for the rest of the night, and the same schedule applies before I go to bed.

Thursday:

I wake up at 8 a.m. again to prepare for my day, which is very similar to Tuesday. Actually, it is a carbon copy, to be honest.

Friday:

I wake up a few minutes before 8 a.m. in preparation for my 8:50 a.m. Tisch Scholars class, which goes on for about an hour and 30 minutes. It is a very cool and relaxing class with a lot of learning, games, and fun; sometimes they even give us breakfast during class. After that, I head straight to JCC for my Statistics recitation session, where we review a couple of questions from class, and then I am done with my classes for the week. I head to Dewick to get lunch, and then from around 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., I have an RLA shift. After that, I sometimes go to play pickup soccer or spend the weekend away from campus.

Saturday and Sunday:

I wake up at around 10 a.m., and these two days are for resting and getting some work done. On Sunday, I head to Hilltop Church for the second service with my best friend. The schedule repeats for all the weeks in the semester.
