It’s been a long winter, AND a long admissions season. From meeting many of you at high school visits way back in September, to REALLY getting to know you through your essays, activities, and recommendations over the past few months – it’s all about to come down to a decision.
We will release decisions on Thursday of this week. But, before you start anxiously refreshing your email and checking your portal, I want to make something very clear – no matter the decision you receive, our admissions team enjoyed meeting you, and we’re thankful for the compliment you’ve given us by sharing your story with us.
April, though one of the most beautiful months here in New England in my own humble opinion, is a month fraught with anxiety and decision making. Most likely, in this college process, you’ll receive some good news, some bad news, and some news you don’t quite know what to do with… and it will be your job over the next few weeks to sift through it all and decide where you can most see yourself. While I recognize it’s easy for me to say on this side of the desk (and way past my college years!) – breathe, take it all in, and try to enjoy the path to your ultimate decision. For most of you, this will be the last time you’ll be shopping for an undergraduate institution, so make the most of it. And try to remember when you visit your portal later this week that, admitted or not, we are grateful to have had the opportunity to meet you.
Best wishes, friends! And good luck with your decisions.
