Tufts isn't all rain and snow and wind, though– and I would be remiss if I didn't show you what Tufts looks like in the sun.
Every now and again, the sun pokes its head from behind the clouds and Tufts students wander out of the dark depths of Tisch, groggily awakening from the academic hibernation that is midterm season. The sun is out and it is literally four times warmer than it used to be– and it's still only 48 degrees out. If you ever wanted to learn to appreciate warm weather, this is where you'll do it. 40 degree weather in the fall? Put on a coat, it's freezing out, do you want pneumonia? 40 degree weather in April? Shorts and t-shirts, get your sunglasses, we're playing frisbee.
There is nothing more glorious than waking up one morning to find all the snow gone (except for that patch in the shade outside the bookstore– I'm watching you) and realizing that you actually don't need your coat to go outside. The winter is brutal, yes. But the awakening? Life-changing.
Welcome to Tufts.
