I have reached this strange place in my Tufts/blogging career where I am beginning to meet people who have read my blog or know who I am because they’ve spent a fair bit of time on the Admissions website. At first it was startling to me that anyone would want to read my ramblings (like Tom, the friend I wrote about earlier this year), but now every time someone tells me they read my blog before choosing Tufts I get this awesome rush of adrenaline and then want to ask billions of questions as to why they chose Tufts!
A few weekends ago I met another one of my readers: Adam Kaminski, or more recently Adam Kaminski TRUNKER.
Adam is now a member of Tufts’ Traveling Treasure Trunk, Tufts only children’s theatre troupe and a group I have been a proud member of since the beginning of my freshman year. And guess what, Adam is not only a baby Trunker: He’s a blogger too!!!
(You should go over to his page and give him some love: https://tufts-admissions.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/blogs/jumbo-talk/author/adam-kaminski/)
Two minutes after meeting Adam I knew he was pretty cool. Here’s a guy who plays volleyball, writes for the Tufts Daily, wears Birkenstocks in the middle of winter, has an obsession with Yogurt, chose to spend the majority of his weekend auditioning for a children’s theatre troupe, blogs for this very website, and read my blog before choosing Tufts J, a fact he alerted me to over text message!
This blog is more than me gushing about my new friend though; it is a message to Adam with some questions I would love for him to answer over the blogosphere. I think this is a cool chance to get into the head of a previous-reader-turned-blogger, with a pretty awesome perspective on Tufts.
… Ready Adam???
