Jumbo Talk
You need a fall jacket and a winter jacket, apparently they are not the same
As much as you think running in shorts during the winter is a possibility, it isn’t
Wear layers that you can take off once inside, because buildings and classrooms are always over-heated
Scarves, earmuffs, and gloves are all essential
Having both rain boots and snow boots is useful
As appealing as it sounds in the moment, never sleep with the heat on
Make sure to look at the ground as you’re walking so you don’t mistake a patch of ice for cement and slip (black ice and white ice are different!)
Shovels become your best friend- required for driveways, steps, and cars
Have snowball fights, make snow angels, go sledding, go skiing, and have fun with it!
Come April and May, 50 degrees qualifies as bathing suit and beach weather
Jillian found her car!
Waiting for the bus becomes a little more difficult after a blizzard..
