Sara is a senior double majoring in International Relations and Latin American Studies, minoring in Economics. She was born in Colombia and raised in Dominican Republic. She transferred into Tufts from Boston College after her Freshman year. She is very involved on campus not only as president of the International Club and the Tufts Latin American Committee, but also as Senior Admissions Intern. She has taken advantage of many opportunities offered by Tufts, like going to Rwanda with Tufts Hillel, and Morocco (and soon Colombia) with the Institute for Global Leadership. She is loves getting to know people and creating and developing spaces for people’s voices to be heard. She’s a very proud Jumbo.
