Why I chose to major in Community Health
Ever since high school, I knew I wanted to go into medicine and become a doctor. Being able to spend time with patients and listen to their stories…
Hi Everyone, my name is Kaman (pronounced like common). I was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to America when I was a couple months old. I currently live in Boston, MA. I am a junior majoring in Community Health and I am also on the pre-med track. I spend most of my time doing active studying with my peers at Campus Center. Also, you can also find me stuffing my face with either salmon on a bagel from Pax or lamb from Hodge, which are my two favorite foods on campus. On the weekends, you will catch me in Boston eating pho in Chinatown, praying for another Grey's Anatomy season to be uploaded on Hulu, and spending time with my friends.
I am excited for you to get to know me and my journey at Tufts as a first generation and low income student.
