I’m the kind of person who wears cowboy boots as her snow shoes… which is what happens when you grow up in small-ish town Georgia, move to Boston for college, and never leave (except to travel). As a low-income student navigating an expensive university (and city), attending college far from home was really hard, incredibly wonderful, enlightening in surprising ways, and was hands-down the best decision I could have ever made (so high five to seventeen-year-old-Rhiannon!). Dedicating my career to helping students access the transformative power of higher education is both a tremendous privilege and an absolute thrill, and I’m excited to help you and your family learn more about life as a Jumbo.
