Though my college search experience was longer ago than I’d like to admit, the feelings (anxiety, anticipation, excitement) are all the same as the readers of this blog (yes, parents/grandparents/guardians, that includes YOU!) I’m a first gen kid from a small town in New Jersey with an incredible family who encouraged me. I went away to college and had a transformative experience – one that pushed me to center my career in education. Through my work experiences in the Boston Public Schools and here at Tufts, I’ve found that I enjoy helping make this college admissions experience less scary and more transparent for students and their families. So, let’s get this thing started!
