Available Major

Offered by both the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Physics and Astronomy, the chemical physics major is intended for those students who desire a more theoretical physics-oriented education. While the majority of course requirements are in chemistry, physics, and mathematics, courses in related fields such as astrophysics, biology, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, geology, mechanical engineering, philosophy, and psychology, may also be counted toward the major. More information can be found on the Physics-Astronomy department homepage or the Chemistry department homepage.
