Here's a neat map from the U.S. National Grid that lets you view the status of power outages across the U.S. in real time. With the Snowicane (Nemo? Nor'easter?) hitting the northeast from New York to Maine today, this could be pretty fascinating/very helpful.
By the way, parents, Tufts has backup generators on campus and its own self-contained power-generation system (which I can't claim to fully understand) so the power will not go out here, even if it goes out for the rest of the whole metro area. Unless it stays out for more than 10 hours or so.
In which case we have a problem.
