Joss Whedon is doing Much Ado About Nothing and it has a trailer.
If you're reading this blog, you're either a Joss Whedon fan, a future Joss Whedon fan, or my father (hey dad!).
For those of you in the second category, before you head over to Netflix or YouTube to watch Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (which, at 45 minutes, probably has the most awesome-per-minute of any Whedon production) let me explain quickly why Joss Whedon inspires such devotion in his fans:
he's one of us.
He co-wrote Toy Story, he goes to comic cons, he likes Monty Python, he made Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Basically, he's a huge nerd. He didn't go to Tufts, but he would probably fit right in.
If you haven't seen any of Joss Whedon's productions (including Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, or The Avengers, go and watch this, at least.
Much Ado About Nothing is my favorite Shakespeare play and an amazing love story with tons of innuendo to play with. It's perfect for a Joss Whedon film. So, without further ado, I present to you the trailer:
