For high school seniors, the last of your college applications are in and hopefully you are breathing a sigh of relief. You might have spent months searching for the perfect schools across the world or maybe you’ve known all along where you want to go and your application was turned in back in September. No matter how your college search process went, you are now in a period of limbo. I think that this part of the admissions process was memorable for me because it was absolutely nerve-wracking since I have no idea what to do with my time. I applied Regular Decision and turned in my application in November, which meant that I waited 4 months until admissions decisions got back to me. Right now, 4 months doesn’t seem like a long time, but it went on forever while I was playing the waiting game. During that time, I made a few mistakes and few discoveries as to how someone can best survive this time. I’m here today to share what I have learned in the hopes that you make the most of the next few months.
Hopefully this advice will get you through the next few months!
