Given the general craziness of engineering finals, I haven’t been able to post in a little over a week, but here’s the (somewhat proud) result of my Digital Logic final project.
This year’s project was to build a 15 second (maximum) timer with an 8x8 LED matrix display and a speaker which signaled the end of the countdown. The timer had to be able to start counting down at any number 0 to 15 and the speaker had to ring at 3 different frequencies.
Here’s a video of the project, along with a picture (feature image) of my Digital Logic professor, class TA, partners (Dan and Brett), and me.
Another video is also posted online of us showing the timer to our professor, Karen Panetta. However, given that she grills us with questions we have trouble answering in the video, I’ll leave that one wandering around the subspace of the internet for you to find it on your own :)
