SMFA at Tufts Portfolio (Required for BFA, BFA/BA, or BFA/BS applicants)
The SMFA at Tufts program is a conceptual, non-major based interdisciplinary visual arts program. In this program, the development of ideational and technical skills requires that students explore by working across media—addressing issues in contemporary art, art history, and the liberal arts.
All applications to the BFA program at the SMFA at Tufts or the Combined Degree programs must include an art portfolio. Please submit your Art Portfolio via SlideRoom. The ideal portfolio will begin to demonstrate a student’s conceptual development, while highlighting their technical abilities. We encourage students to submit work that they believe to be the strongest representation of their skills and experiences to date, regardless of media.
Submit 15-20 images of recent work and/or up to 10 minutes of time-based work
