Combined Bachelor's and Master's Degree
Tufts undergraduates may participate in a five-year program to earn both a bachelor's and a master's degree. Students work with individual departments in either the School of Arts and Sciences or the School of Engineering for their Bachelors degree and the Graduate School of Arts, Sciences and Engineering for their Masters. The combined degree program is one way to offer undergraduates the opportunity to undertake graduate level work in their junior and senior years.Combined Bachelor's and Master's Degree in International Affairs
Students in the School of Arts and Sciences or Engineering are offered an unusual opportunity to earn the B.A. or B.S. and Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (M.A.L.D.) in a coordinated six-year program with the Fletcher School. This option requires students to apply to the program during their junior year.Combined Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Master of Arts and Law and Diplomacy
The six-year program with the Fletcher School prepares skilled engineers to become leaders in complex, multinational business and public sector environments. In this program, students apply as Round I Early Decision candidates in their senior year of high school. Students who are admitted to the School of Engineering may be passed on to the admissions committee at Fletcher. If accepted by Fletcher, students will be notified by February 1 and must return their enrollment deposit by March 1.
Students who are admitted to the School of Engineering but not referred onto the Fletcher School will not be bound by the early decision agreement and will have until May 1 to respond to the offer of admission.
