Welcome!
This section of our website was designed with college counselors and teachers in mind. It highlights the unique dimensions of Tufts’ curriculum while also providing you with easy-to-access resources to help you and your students navigate the admissions process.
Tufts is a special place. We pride ourselves on creating an environment where faculty and students cross boundaries between the liberal arts, sciences and engineering to address the challenges of the future. Globalism and literacy in a foreign language, social responsibility and civic engagement, and environmental research and sustainability are defining themes of the University's undergraduate curriculum. A deep commitment to cultivating intellectual leaders and active citizens is a longstanding hallmark of Tufts' mission and pedagogy - our approach to learning and research is truly interdisciplinary and encourages collaboration. In short, Tufts educates engineers who love the arts, doctors who relish politics and poets who are facile with technology.
Whether your students are thinking of anthropology or organic chemistry or media studies or computer engineering - or if they are truly undecided - Tufts will prepare them to be citizens in a global century. We look forward to a collaborative working relationship as we consider the candidacies of your applicants in the weeks and months ahead.
