Boston & Davis

Davis

Walk or take the Tufts’ shuttle: either way, it’s just a few minutes to get from Tufts to Davis Square .  If you’re hungry to you can find crepes, Indian, Thai, Italian, ice cream, Tibetan, and Mexican options.  Perhaps you have a craving for cupcakes.  We got you covered.  Seeking some shopping? No problem.  Concerts?  You bet.

And there’s much more: coffee shops, bars, and Boston’s only Museum of Bad Art (so much fun).

Boston

In addition to its inherent awesomeness, Davis is also your gateway to Boston: The T (Boston's subway system). 13 minutes later (literally) and you’re in downtown Boston. Or you can hop off a few stations early to explore Porter, Harvard, or Central Square.

Head all the way downtown, and you’ll be standing at one corner of the Boston Common: 50 acres of gardens, walking trails, athletic fields, ice skating rinks, playgrounds and picnicking spots. From Boston Common, you can walk (or take the T) to hundreds of popular locations around the city. Explore Back Bay, famed for posh bars and restaurants along with peak-of-chic shopping. Or head down to the Theater district to see Broadway and off-Broadway shows, dance performances and concerts. On your way to the North End, known for old-country Italian food and the atmosphere to match, stop in Fanueil Hall and Quincy Market to enjoy street performers, comedy shows and quirky local shops. Or make your way to the Fenway , home of the Boston Red Sox and Boston's vibrant dance club scene.

Keeping track of the options can be a intimidating; makes you wish you had a list .
