Group Information Sessions
Group Information Sessions are conducted by an admissions officer and offer a valuable introduction to Tufts. During the hour-long session, admissions officers will describe the academic and student experience at Tufts along with information on the admissions process and Financial Aid. Upon arriving, visitors should check-in for the information session at Bendetson Hall (the Admissions Office). Please see our campus map for the exact location of Bendetson Hall and the parking garage (in Dowling Hall). Check out our calendar for dates and times.
Admissions 101: Applying to College
Admissions 101 Sessions are interactive gatherings conducted by an admissions officer once a week. They focus exclusively on the college application process and essay writing as a service to prospective applicants. These sessions give an insider’s perspective on completing college applications rather than providing extensive information specifically about Tufts. It is recommended that a prospective student join the tour prior to this information session for specific Tufts information. Check out our calendar for dates and times.
We cannot guarantee seating in our information sessions without a reservation. Please pre-register online through the Tufts Admissions Connection or by calling 617-627-3170 (Press 2, then 0) as soon as your travel plans are finalized. Having an accurate count of visitors for the day allows us to plan space appropriately.
Campus Tours
Campus tours, led by a current student, are offered following each group information sesssion. Taking the one-hour tour is an excellent way to view the Tufts facilities and landscape, as well as learn more about Tufts from a student's perspective. Upon arriving on campus, visitors should check-in for campus tours at Bendetson Hall (the Admissions Office). Please see our campus map for the exact location of Bendetson Hall and the parking garage (in Dowling Hall). Check out our calendar for dates and times.
If a disability prevents you from climbing stairs, please contact the admissions office prior to your visit so that we may accommodate your needs.
Lunch Host Program
The Lunch Host program provides prospective students a glimpse into the intellectual life at Tufts and an opportunity to talk with a current student about their unique experiences. From October 1st through November 20th, high school seniors are invited to attend a pre-approved class of their choosing and then enjoy lunch in the dining hall with a Tufts undergraduate. The Lunch Host program will not be offered on October 12th, October 29th-30th, or November 11th.
